Body

The applicant proposes construction of a 300-unit market rate apartment complex. The proposed development would include three, 3-story buildings housing 264 units and 36 units that will be located within nine townhouse-style buildings, which will be part of the apartment complex and not on separate lots. The southernmost portion of the parcel will be reserved for light commercial uses, for which it is currently zoned.

On January 8, 2024, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 5-0 to approve a Comprehensive Plan amendment to change the future land use designation from Office to High-Density Residential on Tract 1 and for a change of zoning from Planned Development Ordinance No. 3821 and Planned Development Ordinance No. 2124 to Planned Development - Multifamily and Light Commercial.
