Bid documents relating to paint and body services for City of Mesquite fleet assets were broadcast through the Periscope Holdings electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website, and advertised in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper.
Three responses were received and scored utilizing the established Best Value evaluation criteria. Bidders were evaluated on price, previous experience and qualifications, and vendor facilities.
Town East Ford, LLC received the highest overall score. The term of the contract is for a one-year period with four additional one-year renewal options, subject to annual appropriation of sufficient funds.
Financial Implications
Funds have been allocated in the Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget.

Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute a contract with Town East Ford, LLC.
