Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute an Agreement for Award of Transportation Development Credits between the Regional Transportation Council (RTC) and City of Mesquite.
Body
The Regional Transportation Council (RTC) establishes regional transportation policies and project funding priorities for the sixteen counties that comprise the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG).
The RTC has awarded 29,000 Transportation Development Credits (TDC) to the City of Mesquite. The TDC Fiscal Year 2023 Agreement will include two projects identified as a match to certain federal grant funds totaling approximately $145,000.00. These projects were awarded in October 2022:
• 5307 Mobility Management $75,000.00
• 5307 Long Range Planning $70,000.00
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute the FY2023 Agreement for the Award of Transportation Development Credits.
