This request is for the purchase of rifle plates to replace the current sets issued to all officers. This purchase includes sets for each officer and supervisor, as well as replacements for tactical team vests. It will also fund additional plate carriers and accessories as the property room is limited on current inventory to outfit additional officers hired recently.
Financial Implications
This purchase is funded through State seizure funds. State Seizure Amendment No. 3 was approved by the City Council on April 15, 2024.
