A resolution authorizing the City Manager to finalize and execute a Project Specific Agreement (PSA) amending the Master Interlocal Agreement with Dallas County pertaining to Road and Bridge Transportation-Related Maintenance, Repairs, and Improvements to be performed on Oates Drive (Galloway Avenue to Gus Thomasson Road) within the City of Mesquite.
Body
Dallas County has traditionally participated with the City of Mesquite in project delivery and costs associated with the maintenance services for duly qualified “Type B” roadway projects of mutual interest to the County and the City. The approved project for 2024 is the maintenance, repair, and improvements of Oates Drive (Galloway Avenue to Gus Thomasson Road).
The County and the City mutually agree that the City will be responsible for paying $689,500.00 of the total estimated project cost of $1,279,000.00. The County portion will be $589,500.00. This mutual PSA will provide maintenance and repairs to designated blocks of the enumerated public roadway situation in the City of Mesquite on Oates Drive from Galloway Avenue to Gus Thomasson Road.
