In accordance with Chapter 395 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee (CIAC) is forwarding the January 2024, Semiannual Report to the City Council for receipt. The CIAC is the committee that advises the City Council on matters pertaining to roadway, water and wastewater impact fees.
This report covers the roadway, water and wastewater impact fee program for the last six months of calendar year 2023. Roadway impact fee collections were down significantly from 2022. However, 2022 was an unusually strong year for impact fee collections. 2023 had the fourth highest roadway impact fee collections in the program’s history and the highest collection of water and sewer impact fees since those fees were instituted.
