A total of 96 standard desktop computers, 68 standard business laptops, 2 Standard Tablets, 18 semi-rugged laptops, and several specialty configurations of these items were approved for the Fiscal Year 24 Budget. Bids were obtained through the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) cooperative contract for computers. The bid proposal for the computers was received from Dell Marketing L.P. The pricing for each product is listed below:

Financial Implications
Funding is available in the FY 2023-24 operating budget. The remaining $51,377.82 budgeted amount will be applied to other approved personal computer purchases that will be acquired at a later date.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute a contract and any required documents with Dell Marketing L.P., award to Dell Marketing L.P.
