RFP No. 2024-019, City Lake Aquatic Center Renovation: Site Amenities, was approved by the City Council on February 19, 2024, in the amount of $260,325.00 for improvements associated with the swimming pool renovation project. Specifically, the scope addressed the electrical service, ADA compliance, new handrails, and perimeter fencing.
Additional maintenance items and concrete were required resulting in Change Order No. 1, in the amount of $32,015.00. Modifications to the existing electrical service required Change Order No. 2, in the amount of $30,475.00. The combined Change Order amount of $62,490.00 exceeds $50,000.00, requiring City Council approval. The total contract amount for the site amenities was increased to $322,815.00.
Financial Implications
Funding for this project is available through Mesquite 4B Quality of Life Corporation.
