The parking lot at the Mesquite Golf Club, located at 825 I-30 Hwy., was originally constructed with two parking lot fixtures. As part of the City’s efforts to update and enhance security at City facilities, five new light poles will be installed with LED fixtures. Along with the light poles, a new camera will be installed at the entrance to monitor vehicles and record license plates.
Local vendor, Voss Lighting, was selected in accordance with the terms of the Omnia Purchasing Cooperative Contract No. 02-83. Voss has completed similar lighting projects at a number of City facilities, including Westlake Sports Center, Mesquite Airport, and Clay Mathis Park.
Installation is projected to be completed by the end of September 2024.
Financial Implications
Funding for this project is available through the Mesquite 4B Quality of Life Corporation.
