This authorization will allow the City of Mesquite to purchase 48-gallon carts for the City’s new and current residents who wish to purchase a 48-gallon trash cart and 48-gallon recycle carts for the City’s recycling program. The sum of the bid amount of $423,089.00 exceeds the projected budgeted amount of $278,260.00 and will allow the City to purchase more carts depending on the fluctuation in the housing market in Mesquite.
Financial Implications
Funding for this item will be provided through revenue generated by the City’s Cart Program.
