Bid documents relating to Ford repair and alignments for City of Mesquite fleet assets were broadcast through the Periscope Holdings electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website and in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper for the required two weeks.
One response was received and scored using the established Best Value evaluation criteria. Bidder was evaluated on price, previous experience and qualifications, and vendor facilities. Planet Ford 365 bid was received, scored, and accepted. The term of this contract is for a one-year period with four additional one-year renewal options, subject to annual appropriation of sufficient funds.
Financial Implications
Funds have been allocated in the Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget.

Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute a contract with RRPFG Limited Partnership dba Randall Reed’s Planet Ford 365.
