In 2023, the City Manager’s Office initiated an organizational study to evaluate the City’s policies, procedures and practices through the lens of diversity, equity and inclusion. This study was intended to identify any concerns employees had with the organization and provide recommendations to improve the overall employee experience.
During the Pre-Meeting, staff will present the findings and recommendations from the study and introduce the City’s new employee engagement platform, You Matter Mesquite.
