A total of 144 standard desktop computers, 64 standard business laptops, 21 semi-rugged laptops,8 Standard Tablets, 20 standard workstation computers and several specialty configurations of these items were approved for the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget. Bids were obtained through the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) cooperative contract for computers. The bid proposal for the computers was received from Dell Marketing L.P. The pricing for each product is listed below:

Financial Implications
Funding is available in the FY 2024-25 IT Operating Budget. The remaining funds budgeted will be applied to personal computer purchases that will be acquired at a later date.

Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute a contract and any required documents with Dell Marketing L.P.
