Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute an Office and Hangar Lease Agreement with Pictometry International Corp. dba Eagleview, for rental space at the Mesquite Metro Airport.
Body
Eagleview will be leasing City-owned office and hangar space at the Mesquite Metro Airport to establish a maintenance base for their aerial surveying aircraft. The agreement sets an annual lease rate of $97,239.96, broken out into monthly payments of $8,103.33, beginning July 1, 2025, with the initial term expiring June 30, 2030. The agreement will include the option of a three-year extension.
This agreement includes a $100,000.00 investment by the City of Mesquite for improvements to the facility. Eagleview will reimburse the City of Mesquite in the amount of $50,000.00 over the initial term of the lease agreement.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to execute an Office Lease Agreement with Pictometry International Corp. dba Eagleview.
