Crossland Construction Company, Inc., submitted a proposal for Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMaR) services for the new public safety training facility, Phase II. Crossland has developed and submitted to the City of Mesquite a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the construction of new public safety training facility. The total GMP for the new training facility design and specifications is $7,296,409.00. After careful review of the submitted GMP, staff recommends accepting the bid GMP which includes construction services fee of 4.5 percent of construction costs.
Financial Implications
Funding for this project is available through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds and bond funds in Project B0058.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute a Supplemental Agreement (Phase II) to RFP No. 2023-138, Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMaR) Services.
