Consider appointment of three Regular Members (Position Nos. 1, 3 and 5) and one Alternate Member (Alternate No. 1) to the Housing Board for terms to expire December 31, 2027, and one Alternate Member (Alternate No. 2) for a term to expire December 31, 2026.
Body
Currently, the Housing Board has two vacancies - Regular Member (Position No. 1) and Alternate Member (Alternate No. 2). Regular Members Brandy Baxter (Position No. 3) and Yolanda Rodriguez (Position No. 5) and Alternate Member Tasheara Smith-Perkin (Alternate No. 1) are eligible for reappointment and are willing to serve another term, if reappointed. All members serve alternating two-year terms with a limit of three terms.
Alternate members shall attend at least one meeting every six months.
The Housing Board acts in an advisory capacity conducting informal hearings for participant families in the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
