The term of the contract is for a one-year period, with two additional one-year renewal options. The City Manager is authorized to exercise the renewal options, subject to the annual appropriation of sufficient funds.)

This bid is for the purchase of Police Department uniform and clothing items through the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), for a total amount not to exceed $150,000.00, specifically to GT Distributors, Inc., for the primary award of $90,000.00, and secondary award of $60,000.00 to Galls, LLC. Police Department uniform and clothing are made available for purchase on the Mesquite Police Department’s (MPD) Quartermaster System, which allows Police Department personnel to purchase department attire. Within the MPD Quartermaster System, Galls, LLC provides exclusive access to a customized website to purchase MPD-approved uniforms and clothing, and all orders from department personnel are reviewed and approved by MPD Department Administrators prior to the order processing.
Financial Implications
The annual purchase of clothing and uniforms has been approved as part of the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Operating Budget.
