Staff recommends the purchase of one (1) pumper truck equipped with a fully enclosed cab, 500-gallon per minute (GMP) pump, and 500-gallon water tank. The pumper truck is manufactured by Pierce Manufacturing, Inc. and offered through Siddons-Martin Emergency Group, LLC., an approved vendor of HGACBuy.
This item is often requested for wildland fires throughout the State. Staff anticipates that any costs associated with a deployment through the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS) from future participation in disaster responses will offset the cost of the vehicle.
The remaining balance of the budgeted amount will be used to purchase non-specified loose equipment, radios, and the mounting and installation of the Mobile Data Computer and tools.
Financial Implications
Funding will be provided by the 4B Quality of Life Fund Amended Fiscal Year 2025 Budget.

Staff recommends that Council approve the purchase from Siddons-Martin Emergency Group, LLC.
