Appoint Debbie Anderson to the Board of Directors of Reinvestment Zone Number Fourteen, City of Mesquite, Texas (Alcott Logistics Station), for a two-year term to expire April 5, 2023.

On April 5, 2021, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 4853, which created Reinvestment Zone Number Fourteen, City of Mesquite, Texas (Alcott Logistics Station), and designated the City Councilmembers at that time as the initial Board of Directors for terms of two years each.
It is anticipated that the Alcott TIRZ Board will meet on December 20, 2021, prior to the City Council meeting and appointment of Ms. Anderson will help ensure a quorum will be present and will allow Ms. Anderson to vote on Board matters.
Ms. Anderson’s term will coincide with other members of the TIRZ board, which expire on April 5, 2023.

City staff recommends the appointment of Debbie Anderson.
