This project is for the rehabilitation of two ground storage tanks (a 2-million-gallon and a 5-million-gallon) located at the Barnes Bridge Pump Station. The rehabilitation work includes shoring, column repairs, internal spall repairs, and some minor safety improvements. This project is anticipated to begin November 25, 2024, with an anticipated completion date of May 26, 2025.
Bid notices were broadcast through the Periscope Holdings electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website, and published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper. A total of one responsive bid was received. Staff has reviewed their qualifications and recommends award of the base bid to DN Tanks, LLC.
Financial Implications
This project is funded with Water and Sewer Funds and is included in the FY2025 Capital Improvement Plan Budget.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends that the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute a contract with DN Tanks, LLC.
