Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute an Office and Hangar Lease with Marcus Air, LLC, for space at the Mesquite Metro Airport.
Body
Marcus Air, LLC wishes to lease City-owned office and hangar space at the Mesquite Metro Airport to start up a flight school. The agreement sets an annual starting lease rate of $30,642.60 divided into monthly payments of $2,553.55, beginning July 1, 2024, and expiring June 30, 2034. The lease amount will be adjusted every two years based upon the consumer price index.
The City Attorney’s Office has approved the proposed lease as to content and form.

Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute an Office and Hangar Lease with Marcus Air, LLC.
