Equipment Services collaborates with departments to review vehicle conditions, maintenance expenditures, downtime, and operational needs.
Based on this evaluation, staff has identified an aging unit with escalating maintenance costs and declining reliability. A Rubber Tire Loader was approved in the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Capital Outlay Budget.
The proposed unit is a Cat 950 GC with a seven-yard bucket attachment. The estimated arrival for the new unit is November 2026.
