Bid documents were broadcast on the Periscope Holdings electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website and an Advertisement for Bid notice was published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper. Proposals were scored by a selection committee using the Best Value criteria, evaluating bidders based on price, history and experience.

 

This bid is for the supply of traffic sign posts and accessories used by the Public Works Streets Division and stored at the City’s general warehouse. The best value bid was provided by Centerline Supply, Inc., in the amount of $50,213.00 and is the current contractor.  The term of the contract is for a one-year period, with four additional one-year renewal options. The City Manager is authorized to exercise the renewal options, subject to the annual appropriation of sufficient funds.

 

Financial Implications

Funding is available in the Fiscal Year 2022-23 budget. This purchase is facilitated by Warehouse operations through the inventory system.
