Consider cancelling the regular City Council meeting scheduled for Monday, September 22, 2025.

On September 19, 2016, the City Council approved an amendment to Rule 3.1 of the City Council Rules of Procedure which added a third regular City Council meeting in the month of September each year to be held on the fourth Monday.
Each September, the City’s tax rate, fiscal year budget, pay plan and numerous other annual budget related ordinances are presented to the City Council for consideration and adoption. The third meeting in September was added to provide more flexibility and to facilitate the budget process.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends cancelling the September 22, 2025, regular City Council meeting.
