The current terms of all seven members of the Mesquite Industrial Development Corporation expire December 31, 2023.
This nonprofit corporation was established under the provisions of the Texas Development Corporation Act of 1979 in order to provide conduit financing for industrial projects through the sale of tax-exempt bonds.
Members of City Council will serve on this board and may be appointed for two-year terms to expire December 31, 2025. This board meets on an as-needed basis.

Staff recommends appointment of Daniel Alemán, Jr., Tandy Boroughs, B.W. Smith, Jeff Casper, Kenny Green, Elizabeth Rodriguez-Ross and Brandon Murden to the Mesquite Industrial Development Corporation for terms to expire December 31, 2025.
