The City’s Solid Waste and Streets Divisions currently utilize a contract for temporary labor. Temporary laborers are used as needed to cover manpower shortages caused by staff vacancies, seasonal workloads, and increased residential waste caused by weather events.
Financial Implications
Funding is available in the Solid Waste Enterprise Fund and Streets Operations Budget.
