A Rear Loader was approved for Residential Solid Waste in the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Capital Outlay Budget. The proposed purchase of one Rear Loader truck is necessary to meet the continued demand of Residential Solid Waste services. This will be a new addition to the fleet.
Staff has located a Peterbilt 548 Rear Loader truck. The estimated arrival for the new unit is February 2027.
Financial Implications
Funding is available in the Solid Waste Enterprise Fund.
