Bid No. 2022-122, Annual Supply of Concrete, was approved by the City Council on February 20, 2023, in the amount of $608,375.00. The contract was approved with four additional one-year renewals. This Change Order will result in an increase of $97,340.00 to the overall total amount as follows:
Original Contract $608,375.00
Change Order No. 1 (due to price increase) $95,000.00
Renewal No. 1 (2024) $608,375.00
Renewal No. 2 (2025) $608,375.00
Change Order No. 2 (due to price increase) $49,000.00
Renewal No. 3 (2026) $608,375.00
Change Order No. 3 (due to price increase) $97,340.00
Revised Contract Amount $2,674,840.00
The current change order in the amount of $97,340.00 will cover the goods and services to continue through the completion of the contract on March 5, 2027.
Financial Implications
Funding for this project has been allocated with the Streets Division operational budget.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to execute Change Order No. 3.
