The purpose of this contract is to construct traffic signals including signal poles, mast arms, vehicle detection, pedestrian signals, controller cabinets, and signs, at the intersection of Jaguar Way and Faithon P. Lucas, Sr. Boulevard.

 

This project is anticipated to begin on October 13, 2025, and to be completed by May 2026.

 

Bid notices were broadcast through the BidNet Direct electronic procurement system, posted on the City’s website, and published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper.  A total of seven responsive bids were received.  Staff has reviewed the qualifications and recommends award of the base bid to American Lighting & Signalization, LLC.

 

Financial Implications

The contract funds are allocated from Capital Improvement Project 2025-26.

 

Recommended/Desired Action

Staff recommends that the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute a contract with American Lighting & Signalization, LLC.
