The purpose of this project is to repair and rehabilitate the City’s sanitary sewer system, including 3,660 linear feet of cured-in-place (CIPP) lining, the rehab or replacement of six manholes, construction of one new and replacement of two junction boxes, plus point repairs, bypass pumping, odor control, and abandonment of a 6-inch sewer pipe and manhole.

 

This project is anticipated to begin in August 2025 and to be completed by Spring 2026.

 

Bid notices were broadcast through the BidNet Direct electronic procurement system, posted on the City’s website, and published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper.  A total of two responsive bids were received.  Staff has reviewed the qualifications and recommends award of the base bid to Insituform Technologies, LLC.

 

Financial Implications

The contract will be allocated with Water and Sewer Project funds.

 

Recommended/Desired Action

Staff recommends that the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute a contract with Insituform Technologies, LLC.
