Title

Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute Change Order No. 2 to RFQ No. 2023-139, Materials Testing Services for Fire Station No. 8, with Terracon Consultants, Inc., in the amount of $15,899.00.

 

Body

RFQ No. 2023-139, Materials Testing Services for Fire Station No. 8, with Terracon Consultants, Inc., was approved by the City Manager on January 7, 2025, in the amount of $83,834.00.  Change Order No. 1 was approved by the City Council on August 4, 2025, in the amount of $29,867.00.  Change Order No. 2 will result in an increase of $15,899.00 for a total contract amount of $129,600.00. This change order provides additional funds required to complete the project.

 

Financial Implications

Funding for this project is provided in the contingency project funds of B0057.

 

Recommended/Desired Action

Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute Change Order No. 2 to RFQ No. 2023-139, Materials Testing Services for Fire Station No. 8.
