A resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute Supplemental Agreement No. 5 to the Interlocal Agreement with Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) in the amount of $9,064.86 for the operation and maintenance of traffic signals within a municipality.

 

Body

On June 6, 2000, the City entered into an Interlocal Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for the installation, reimbursement, operation, and maintenance of traffic signals within a Municipality (Contract No. 180XXM5017). The original maximum annual contract amount was $63,454.02.

 

The agreement has subsequently been amended through the following supplemental agreements:

 

                     Supplemental Agreement No. 1 - Executed April 20, 2006, increasing the maximum annual contract amount to $67,991.38.

                     Supplemental Agreement No. 2 - Executed August 5, 2014, increasing the maximum annual contract amount to $72,518.88.

                     Supplemental Agreement No. 3 - Executed September 8, 2021, increasing the maximum annual contract amount to $77,051.31.

                     Supplemental Agreement No. 4 - Executed October 3, 2025, increasing the maximum annual contract amount to $81,583.74.

 

Supplemental Agreement No. 5 will increase the maximum annual contract amount by $9,064.86 to provide for the addition of the traffic signal at IH-20 and FM 741, resulting in a new maximum annual contract amount of $90,648.60.

 

Recommended/Desired Action

Staff recommends approval of the resolution.
