One 12-Yard Dump Truck for Streets Division was approved in the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Capital Outlay Budget. 

 

Staff has located a Peterbilt 548 Dump Truck to replace the 2008 model with high maintenance cost from extreme performance demands. The new unit features a heavier duty chassis for better capability and performance. The estimated time of arrival of the new unit is November 2025.

Financial Implications

The recommended unit will be purchased through the Capital Outlay Budget. All the remaining funds will be used to purchase residual approved equipment.
