Title
A resolution authorizing the Mayor to finalize and execute all documents necessary to designate the positions of Director of Finance, Senior Finance System Analyst, Manager of Budget and Treasury, Assistant City Manager and Budget Analyst to act as the City of Mesquite’s authorized representatives for Texas Local Government Investment Pool (“TexPool/TexPool Prime”).
Body
This resolution is required by TexPool/TexPool Prime to make changes to the authorized list of City representatives who have authority to transmit funds and perform inquiries for investment purposes in the City’s TexPool/TexPool Prime account. The attached resolution will add Ted Chinn, Director of Finance; Cynthia Sanchez, Senior Finance System Analyst; and Edmond Yiu, Budget Analyst, as an authorized representative for the City of Mesquite and removes Cindy Smith and Michelle Baccheschi, who are no longer employed by the City, and Ashley Tierney whose last day of employment will be September 20, 2024. The resolution also replaces City Manager Cliff Keheley with Assistant City Manager Suzy Cluse as the City’s representative designated to perform only inquiries of selected information. Geneva Mendez, Manager of Budget and Treasury, remains as an authorized representative.
