The City solicited bids in 2023 for a golf coordinator to provide lessons at the Mesquite Golf Club. Through the bid process, Nathan James Tyler, dba as Tin Can Golf Instruction, was selected to provide this service for a fee not to exceed $49,500.00 each year. The current contract has expired and did not specify an option for automatic renewals as provided in the original scope. An amendment to the contract allowing for four automatic renewals has been drafted.
