Consider appointment of four Regular Members (Position Nos. 1, 3, 5 and 7) to the Library Advisory Board for terms to expire December 31, 2027, and one Regular Member (Position No. 6) for a term to expire December 31, 2026.
Body
Currently, the Library Advisory Board has one vacancy - (Position No. 6). Regular Members Angel Blackstock (Position No. 1), Julie Shelton (Position No. 3), Tammy Jo Strong (Position No. 5) and June Chambers (Position No. 7) are eligible for reappointment and have agreed to serve another term, if appointed. All members serve alternating two-year terms with a limit of three terms.
The Library Advisory Board acts in an advisory capacity with regard to the City’s library services and library facilities.
