Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute Change Order No 4 to Bid No. 2023-141, Construction Services for Construction of New Fire Station No. 2, with AUI Partners, LLC, for additional services in the total amount of $104,240.28.

 

Body

The City Council approved Bid No. 2023-141, Construction Services for Construction of New Fire Station No. 2. with AUI Partners, LLC, on February 19, 2024, in the amount of $9,649,220.00. City Council approved Change Orders 1, 2 and 3 in the amount of $533,072.26 on August 4, 2025, resulting in a revised contract amount of $10,182,292.26

 

Change Order 4 is required to complete additional needed electrical, retaining wall and fence revisions, and room finishings. Change Order 4 will result in an increase of $104,240.28 to the overall construction cost for a total amount of $10,286,532.54.

 

Financial Implications

Funding for this project is from bond funds and capital reserve.

 

Recommended/Desired Action

Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute Change Order No. 4 to Bid No. 2023-141- Construction Services for Construction of New Fire Station No. 2.
