Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute Change Order No. 1 to Bid No. 2023-102, Street Repairs for Big Town Boulevard, with FNH Construction, LLC for additional services required in the total amount of $98,750.00.

 

Body

The City Council approved Bid No. 2023-102, Street Repairs for Big Town Boulevard, with FNH Construction, LLC on September 5, 2023, in the amount of $1,210,384.00.

 

Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $98,750.00 covers the removal of 790 additional square yards of concrete pavement due to the existing condition beneath the asphalt. This change order also extends the contract by 21 calendar days.

 

The revised contract amount is $1,309,134.00.

 

Financial Implications

The project is budgeted from the Capital Budget with funds allocated for Street Maintenance.

 

Recommended/Desired Action

Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute Change Order No. 1 to Bid No. 2023-102, Street Repairs for Big Town Boulevard.
