This bid is for paint and body services required for the maintenance and service of the City fleet.
Bid notices were broadcast to vendors through the BidSync electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website and an Advertisement for Bid notice was published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper. This was a best value bid and three bid responses were received. Proposals were scored by a selection committee using the Best Value criteria, evaluating bidders based on price, previous experience and qualifications and vendor facilities. Town East Ford received the most points and if approved, shall have the option to renew this contract under the same terms for four consecutive years.
Financial Implications
Funds have been allocated in the Fiscal Year 2020-21 budget.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to execute a contract with Town East Ford.
