Although not required by law, the City Council has traditionally held multiple public hearings to allow citizens additional opportunities to comment on the proposed budget. This is the second public hearing to receive citizen input on the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26. The first public hearing was held at the July 7, 2025, City Council meeting, and there were no comments.
A budget Town Hall Tuesday meeting was held on July 15, 2025, and a final public hearing will be held at the August 4, 2025, City Council meeting prior to the adoption of the budget in accordance with State law.
