Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute a Professional Engineering Services Contract with BGE, Inc. a Texas Corporation, for Executive Boulevard, Phase 2, in the amount of $403,385.00.
Body
This design contract includes the reconstruction of Executive Boulevard and Executive Circle from South Town East Boulevard to Innovative Way, including pavement reconstruction, mill and overlay, sidewalks, drainage, grading, and sanitary sewer and water utility improvements.
Pending Council approval, design will begin late February 2026 and be completed in Fall of 2026. The project is anticipated to be bid late 2026 and construction to begin early 2027 with completion in late 2027.
Financial Implications
This project is funded with Certificates of Obligation (CO) funds and Water/Sewer funds.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute a Professional Engineering Services Contract with BGE, Inc.
