The City contracts out the lifting and leveling of concrete slab pavement of streets and sidewalks by injecting polyurethane material under the pavement. The contract will be used as the need arises, at the discretion of the Streets Manager. The work will occur at various locations throughout the City.

 

This is an annual contract beginning with the notice to proceed date and expiring one calendar year from that date. The contract also includes two renewal options to extend the contract for two additional one-year periods, renewable on the yearly anniversary of the notice to proceed date of the original contract, provided that both parties, the contractor and the City, are in mutual agreement and execute a renewal in writing and signed by both parties.

 

Bid notices were broadcast through the BidNet Direct electronic procurement system, posted on the City’s website and an Advertisement for Bid was published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper. A total of one responsive bid was received.

 

Financial Implications

Funding for the contract is budgeted through the Streets Program and funded through CO funds.

Staff recommends award to low bidder PJM Construction, LLC, dba FoamWorks.
