Receive briefing regarding the North Gus Thomasson Road Corridor Study.

During the Pre-Meeting, Planning and Economic Development staff will brief the City Council regarding a proposal for the North Gus Thomasson Corridor (NGTC) Study. The study will serve as the principal guide in promoting orderly growth, development, and redevelopment of the NGTC and provide direction on a new or revised zoning scheme for properties along the NGTC. The multi-month process will include public hearings, public engagement, market analysis, creating an implementation plan, and producing a final report with recommendations. During the briefing, staff will introduce the consulting team from LJA Engineering, who will be conducting the study. Staff and consultants will provide an overview of the process and scope of work.
