Five vehicles were approved in the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Capital Outlay budget as follows:
• Rear loader trucks for Solid Waste Residential - 4
• Grapple truck for Solid Waste Residential - 1
Staff has located four rear loaders and one grapple truck to replace five trucks with high mileage and maintenance cost. Current estimated time of arrival for these units is July 2024.
Financial Implications
Remaining funds needed to cover the deficit will come from residual savings of other approved vehicles.
