Consider an application to allow fee in lieu of parkland dedication for the Wooded Lake Apartments, located at 1410 Wooded Lake Drive.
Body
The applicant has received zoning approval for a 288-unit multifamily development and has requested to pay a $441,440.64 fee in lieu of dedicating 5.24 acres of land for park purposes. Proctor Oates Park, a currently undeveloped park, is located northeast of the property directly across a utility right-of-way. Additional dedicated park land is not needed given that an existing park is within walking distance of the development.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends approval of the request.
