Equipment Services collaborates with departments to review vehicle conditions, maintenance expenditures, downtime, and operational needs.
Based on this evaluation, staff has identified an aging unit with escalating maintenance costs and declining reliability. A Transfer Truck was approved for replacement in the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Capital Outlay Budget.
The proposed unit is a Peterbilt 567 Transfer Truck. The estimated arrival for the new unit is December 2026.
