Crossland Construction Company, Inc., submitted a proposal for Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMaR) services for Fire Station No. 8, Phase II. Crossland has developed and submitted to the City of Mesquite a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the construction of New Fire Station No. 8. The total GMP for the New Fire Station No. 8 design and specifications, is $13,042,264.00 After careful review of the submitted GMP and all add and deduct bid alternates, staff recommends accepting the bid GMP. This GMP includes construction services fee of 3.75 percent of construction costs.
Financial Implications
Funding for this project is available through bond funds in Project B0057.

Staff recommends the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute a Supplemental Agreement (Phase II) to RFP No. 2023-137, Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMaR) Services.
