As part of the U.S. Highway 80 Reconstruction Project, this agreement between the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the City of Mesquite covers the intersection at Belt Line Road. TxDOT will manage the plans, specifications, bidding, and installation. The City will provide traffic detection, controllers, and cabinet equipment, which are uniform throughout the City and will be reimbursed $48,760.00 by TxDOT.
