Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute a Professional Engineering Services Contract with Quiddity Engineering, LLC, a Texas Corporation, for 2026 Street Reconstruction, in the amount of $881,500.00.
Body
This design contract consists of preparing preliminary and final design, and preparation of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates for various street and utility improvements. The roadway reconstruction will utilize concrete pavement sections designed to improve long-term durability and reduce maintenance costs. As previously briefed and recommended to the City Council, project locations were selected using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI), with staff prioritizing streets exhibiting the lowest PCI scores to ensure that the community’s most deteriorated pavement segments are addressed first. The project plans will include the replacement or reconstruction of existing adjacent sidewalks, driveways, retaining walls less than four feet in height, landscaping, and other miscellaneous features impacted by the proposed street and utility improvements.
