The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) has notified the City that Terry Anderson’s term on the NTMWD Board of Directors will expire May 31, 2026.
Mr. Anderson’s tenure on this Board has been exceptional and a true benefit to the City when it comes to interactions with the District. With the need to plan for future water resources and expansion of the District to meet the demands of population growth, Mr. Anderson’s experience will truly benefit the City and all Member and Customer Cities.
It is the recommendation of the City Manager that Mr. Anderson be reappointed for an additional two-year term to expire May 31, 2028.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends City Council reappoint of Mr. Anderson to this Board.
